Wilson Combat announces “Texas BBQ Special”

Arkansas-based gun craftsmen Wilson Combat advises they're releasing a new pistol called the Texas BBQ Special. The pistols will be hand engraved by Master Engraver Wayne D'Angelo and will echo the legendary “fancy fighting firearms” worn by the Texas Rangers. “These fully dressed-up carry guns, often hand-engraved,” says Wilson Combat, “are almost always some version of a 1911 and are traditionally worn at special get-togethers and barbeques by gunmen across Texas.” The Wilson Combat pistol is intended to deliver first class shooting performance while appearing fancy enough for the most formal of gatherings.

The Texas BBQ Special will begin with machined stainless forged and billet parts and will be hand fitted for reliability and accuracy. All engraving will be done by hand and will be available in 3 distinct coverage levels. The pistols will be available in 9mm or .45 ACP and will range in price from $4,960 to $6,045.
