Learn More The new EDC light and pocket knife are two of several products released by 5.11 Tactical at Shot Show. Along with the low profile bag we told you about before, here a couple more reasons it was worth stopping by their booth. The TPT (Tactical Polymer Torch) EDC Light is a “powerhouse” offering a 91 lumen output small enough to be in your pocket everyday. Using 2 AAA batteries, this 3.25 inch long tool can last up to 5 hours on one set of batteries. The lightweight polymer body has a thermal plastic rubber outer molding, lanyard/keychain attachment, and a removable steel pocket clip. The light is also impact and water resistant, and available in several colors- black, traffic yellow, and sandstone. The MSRP for this tool is $22.99. This small new pocket knife is imminently suitable for EDC. The DTP (Drop in the Pocket) Knife is just six and a half inches when open, including the length of the 2.85 inch AUS9 steel blade. The textured handle is made of fiberglass reinforced nylon but also shows the colored steel liners of the knife. The DTP’s blade has a TEFLON finish and ambidextrous thumb hole. You can get the knife in black, phlox, viridian, and scope orange for $42.99 on their website or see more pictures on their Facebook.
