Guns [SHOT 2017] Action Target DRM Pro and AWD Pro Industry News January 15, 2017 Action Target introduces the DRM Pro and the AWD Pro. The DRM Pro is described as a feature-rich running man system that can be used outdoors or indoors. The AWD Pro has 27 games and training scenarios for all skill levels to practice with. They claim that both will offer shooters an unparalleled experience. They will be at SHOT Show in Booth # 14568. SHOT Show 2017: Action Target DRM Pro and AWD Pro Here’s what Action Target had to say. The Dual Running Man (DRM) Pro is the most powerful and feature-rich running man system ever designed. It boasts 3HP motors, ultra-wear resistant pulleys, speeds up to 20 fps, realistic acceleration, and an easy to use control interface for use on tablets and mobile phones. The DRM Pro uses two lateral traveling, non-turning target carriers capable of moving independently from one another because they are mounted on two separate tracks that run parallel to each other. Paper, cardboard, and plastic targets can be attached to the Dual Running Man by stapling or clamping them to the standard 1” x 2” wood sticks secured to the target carriers with clamps. The DRM Pro comes with an easy to use interface that is compatible with a tablet and/or smart phone devices and also ties into the master range control software. Simple: Mobile interface is intuitive and easy to use. Compatible: Web based app can be installed on most tablets and smart phones. Connected: DRM Pro integrates with both SmartRange™ and Mancom™ Master Control software. Powerful: The system’s built-in wifi network reaches up to 50 yards and doesn’t require an internet connection. Longer distances are available upon request. Versatile: DRM Pro can be programmed along with target systems to create nearly any training scenario. Additionally, the DRM Pro’s system’s components are industrial strength and IP54 compliant for year-round outdoor and indoor use. The All Wheel Drive (AWD) Pro retriever is the most engaging and robust retriever on the market. It features a modern, easy to use interface with 27 addicting games and training scenarios for all skill levels. The AWD Pro comes preloaded with games and drills developed by leading firearms trainers that challenge every shooter. These game-changing programs have been proven to engage shooters, keeping them in the range longer and consuming more ammunition. Based on results of a survey of shooters using the AWD Pro for the first time. Pistol & Rifle Programs: Several programs are built specifically for pistol and rifle shooters. These are available in beginner, intermediate, and advanced formats. Pistol Qualification Programs: Standardized qualification scenarios provide both civilian and law enforcement users the ability to practice. Personal Defense Programs: Charging, reload, and decision-making drills for varying skill levels help train shooters through self-guided training. Games: Numerous shooting game programs keep shooters on their toes and improving their skills, all while having fun. The AWD Pro also has a simple touch screen, which gives the users the ability to control their own shooting experience. As well, the AWD Pro functions completely independent of bus bars and cables, preventing downtime and reducing maintenance. In addition to random edging, the AWD Pro features three target behaviors. These features remove predictability from the equation and introduces stress and decision making on the shooter’s part. To learn more visit their website. The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Typically attended by thousands of people from all 50 states and over a hundred countries, it is (quite rightfully) described as the “…world’s premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services. Imagine the Worlds’ Fair, but packed with everything from mini-guns and every breed of body armor, bows and boots; from eye pro and ear pro to optics and ordnance, socks to swords…you get the idea. If you’d like to see a sampling of the companies who will be showing at this year’s SHOT, there’s a live map right here, though it doesn’t reflect the organizations set up elsewhere, in hotel suites, etc View imagery from our coverage of last year’s SHOT Show here; 2015’s is right here.
