Adaptive Tactical Reintroduces Stocks for Ruger 10/22

Free from under the Lyman Products brand, Adaptive Tactical has reintroduced stocks designed around the popular Ruger 10/22 platform.

The relaunched stocks, available directly from Adaptive Tactical, include the TacTRED Monopod, Tac-Hammer RM4 Takedown Rifle Stock, and the Tac-Hammer RM4 Ruger 10/22 Rifle Stock.

The TacTRED Monopod’s design allows it to work alongside both the Tac-Hammer RM4 and Tac-Hammer RM4 Takedown. Providing integral support, the spring-loaded TacTRED offers immediate extension of up to 3-inches via button with adjustability in 3/8-inch increments. Adaptive Tactical says the support structure boasts a “quick, stable, single-point rest on any surface” while also introducing tripod stability when used alongside a front rest or rail mounted bipod. The TacTRED delivers a price slipping in the sub-$50 category.

Adaptive also serves up two stocks in addition to the monopod; the first of which is the Tac-Hammer RM4 Takedown Rifle Stock. The Tac-Hammer Takedown model sets its sights on shooters in need of a lightweight, compact stock for the Ruger Takedown 10/22. Featuring compatibility with factory tapered barrels only, the adjustable M4 style buttstock touts Adaptive Tactical’s Stowaway accessory rail concealed in the forend. The company says when reversed users can utilize the rail for a flashlight, bipod or other accessory. Outfitted with ambidextrous storage compartments for two spare Ruger rotary mags, the stock allows users to dial in a custom fit for better control and improved ergonomics. The Tac-Hammer Takedown offers a MSRP starting at $129.

Rounding out the stock products and continuing the Tac-Hammer theme is the Tac-Hammer RM4 Ruger 10/22 Rifle Stock. Shipping with similar features as its Tac-Hammer sibling, what sets this reinforced polymer stock apart, according to Adaptive Tactical, is its removable barrel insert. The insert is said to provide a custom fit for standard tapered barrels in addition to .920-inch bull barrels. Aside from that, the Tac-Hammer RM4 appears to offer the same features as the Tac-Hammer Takedown. The Tac-Hammer RM4 delivers a price-tag starting at $109.

Both the RM4 and Takedown stocks come in either black or Kryptek Highlander (if you’re in need of a splash of color in your gun safe.)

The Ruger 10/22 has been a popular long gun ever since its introduction into the market in the mid-1960s with multiple companies over the years promoting accessories and add-ons for the rifle. Adaptive Tactical says its excited to supply the new, but not-so-new products to Ruger 10/22 fans.
