Alpha Tac’s Extreme Beam released a new flashlight they’re calling “a long-range workhorse of a flashlight”; this light was created for “full military service” and can be mounted to a .50 cal. The M4 Scirrako is crafted of bar stock aluminum that has a micro-textured body for better grip. The model also has double O-ring seals that keep the tool waterproof for up 30 feet, an anti-glare ‘stealth’ finish, and tri-cut glass to add to the durability. The light employs their “Extreme Beam’s SuperLumen Technology”, which uses a reflecting cone that captures almost all the light emitted from the 230 lumen LED bulb. This creates a light that can illuminate up to 333 meters, or 1090 feet. This lit distance can last up to 7 hours on high, Alpha TAC claims, and takes two 3.0-3.6 volt CR 123 batteries. The light has three modes aside from off- high, low, and strobe. Along with their “Anti-Recoil® system” that protects the inner gears of the light from forces up to .50 BMG., Alpha TAC is also offering a lifetime warranty that even covers destruction. They say no questions asked, however they would like to hear your stories. The M4 Scirrako is MSRP’d at $59.95 here.
