Learn More Written by Jacki Billings American Defense Manufacturing recently unveiled the appropriately initialed ADM4 series, featuring a complete rifle system alongside a lower receiver. (C’mon, the industry can always use one more black rifle.) The ADM4 lower receiver utilizes a 7075 T6 aluminum build in a Type III Teflon hardcoat anodized finish. The biggest advantages to the ADM4 lower are its ambidextrous accoutrements. Flaunting a proprietary ambi magazine release and bolt catch/release, the lower receiver expands options for southpaw shooters. The ADM4 lower works in conjunction with standard GI type triggers, drop-ins using standard pins, and Geissele triggers. Additionally, ADM has produced a low head pin designed to function alongside CMC triggers. Nestled within an oversized trigger guard, the trigger area is designed to easily accommodate gloved hands. Rounding out the 11-ounce lower’s features is a 20-degree competition style mag well the company says produces “lightning fast magazine changes.” If building your own AR seems like too much work, ADM also offers a complete ADM4 carbine. Constructed from billet aluminum, the rifle employs the ADM4 lower to serve up all those ambi goodies plus an ambi safety selector. The rifle takes the ambidextrous accessories a step further, outfitting the upper with an ambi charging handle as well. Equipped with that oversized trigger guard and 20-degree competition style mag well design, the ADM4 also adds a 2-stage match trigger, QD endplate, and ADM HD buffer into the mix. The ADM4 rifle's upper boasts a 16-inch barrel with 1:8 twist, topped off with a 13.5-inch M-LOK handguard. A Battlecomp 1.0 muzzle device is attached as well as Magpul Pro BUIS sights. The mid-length gas system gun showcases a MIL-spec enhanced bolt carrier group with Nitride QPQ finish. Weighing 6.2-pounds, the ADM4 Complete Rifle is priced at $1,850.
