Guns Apex Debuts Smith & Wesson M2.0 Flat-Faced Trigger Kit Industry News November 20, 2017 Join the Conversation Written by Jacki Billings On the heels of the Glock Gen. 5 trigger kit introduction, Apex announced a new flat-faced trigger setup designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson M2.0 pistol series. The Apex Flat-Faced Forward Trigger Kit replaces the factory hinged Smith & Wesson trigger with an aluminum style setup, offering reduced pre-travel and over-travel. The combination of Apex springs, factory sear, and trigger return springs gives M2.0 shooters the ability to set the trigger pull weight for duty or carry, even dropping it down to a competition weight if needed. In total, the setup reduces trigger pull weight by up to 2-pounds and, as a drop-in, requires no extensive gunsmithing to install. Apex even provides a handful of videos on its website to help DIY installers drop-in the trigger themselves. The Flat-Faced trigger kit also features a center mounted pivoting safety in order to maintain factory safety values. Overall, Apex says the new setup aims to give Smith & Wesson M2.0 owners a smoother, more consistent trigger pull. The trigger kit retails for $169 and includes the following: Flat Faced Forward Set Trigger Forward Set Sear Actuator 2-Dot Fully Machined Sear Heavy Duty Sear Spring Duty/Carry Sear Spring Heavy Duty Trigger Return Spring Duty/Carry Trigger Return Spring Ultimate Striker Block Kit (Striker Block, Spring and Talon Tactical Tool) Slave pin (assists with installation of trigger return spring) Explore RECOILweb:RECOILtv SHOT Show 2020: CZ DWX, Bren 2 Ms, and Varmint RifleKDG Releases New Modular Optic MountRECOIL 30 - New ProductsNew standards for ballistic testing?
