As with its predecessors it's visually compelling, though it doesn't really do much to expand on what we're going to see in the movie (which is probably a Good Thing). Director Zack Snyder has received both accolades and derision for casting former Daredevil Ben Affleck as Batman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, though the reappearance of Henry Cavill as Superman seems to satisfy most critics. Michael Shannon will be coming back as General Zod and then presumably Doomsday, in whose guise he'll do battle not just with Superman and Batman (who we're guessing by this point will have made amends, or at least agreed to disagree), but with Wonder Woman (played by Israeli actress Gal Gadot) and Aquaman (former-Khal-Drogo and terrible Conan Jason Momoa) as well. They'll also be joined by Cyborg and The Flash, played by Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller, respectively. Unfortunately we knew nothing about the latter two until we used some Google Fu, but hopefully they'll deliver good performances. Holly Hunter will be playing either a United States Senator or a lady dying of slowly dying of terminal constipation, it's hard to tell from the pictures. Here's a look at the trailer. Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice is only one of a series of upcoming Justice League related movies, including of course one (well, two actually) called Justice League — Part One in 2017 and Part Two in 2019. We'll soon be seeing Suicide Squad and a solo Wonder Woman film (Chris “Capt. Kirk” Pine will play Steve Trevor). The rumor mill indicates there will be a Shazam solo flick (with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson playing Black Adam) in there somewhere too, and an Inhumans movie around the same time. Wait, that's Marvel Even further out we should be seeing a Green Lantern Corps movie in 2020. All of this is well and good, but you know what we're missing? The JSA (or All-Star Squadron) throwing down with some Nazis. That's right, I want to see Doctor Mid-Night, Mr. Terrific, Wildcate and the others throw down with Hitler, and I want it to have the kind of effects we saw in Fury. That's what I'm talking about.
