Learn More Blade-Tech founder Tim Wegner, who recently retired, is apparently still active with the company. The recently posted this video about the Profili knife, a folder designed by Mike Vellekamp that features two locks, G10 handles and ambidextrous clip capability for tip-up or tip-down carry. This particular knife has been around a while but it's interesting to hear Mr. Wegner talk about it. Profili is Italian for profile (it is built in Italy). The name apparently comes from the surname of Laurie DeMar's grandfather, Eugene Profili, who hailed from Lucca, Italy. It has received accolades from a number of reviewers as a fighting knife and has a fixed blade cousin. The Profili retails for $159.99. Purchase yours online here.
