Fit and finish on the America 250th, like all of Bond Arm’s pistols, is nothing short of perfect. Made in Texas, these pistols are obviously made with craftsmanship and care. Major anniversaries like the semiquincentennial don’t come around very often and for most people will be once-in-a-lifetime events. Commemorating these events with a tangible piece of history that can be passed down for generations is pretty awesome. A 2-shot Derringer might not be my top pick for an EDC CCW, but not everything needs to be duty/carry perfection. The America 250th is a good little pistol. Well-made, amazing finish, and just damn cool. MSRP is $499 for the stainless steel and $699 for black Cerakote. And if you’re wondering why the 250th anniversary is called a “semiquincentennial”, the word breaks down as: Semi (half), Quin (five), Centennial (one-hundred).
