Learn More Here's a great way to combine the 1st and 2nd Amendments (and to get a manly shave) – bullet pens and safety razors from Mighty Pens. The Tulsa-based company has a nice lineup of all metal, hand crafted bullet writing implements and my personal favorite, a .50 BMG razor. Doug, the guy who makes them all, is a firearms aficionado and former Marine who has been using bullet pens since attending a Kansas Cartridge Collectors Association meeting with his father in a WWII train's troop car nearly 40 years ago. He builds pens and razors in a small shop now as a modern expression of “trench art” and as an homage dad. Check them out, and remember — we're only 5 weeks out from Father's Day. This might be something to keep in mind for June 21st (though I'll happily take one as a gift on any holiday that serves as an excuse). As of this writing the Might Pen store features 10 different pens, in everything from brass or nickel to Cerakoted black, and 3 different razors; a .50 caliber double edge safety razor, a Mach3/Venus razor in pink and a .50 cal BMG Mach 3. Learn more on the Might Pen website: http://mightypenco.com/ or on their Facebook page. If you were wondering, Doug served with 5TH Marines and is a Desert Storm veteran.
