Bushnell Unveils LMSS II, Plus Awaited Addition to Their Forge Lineup

As a Bushnell shooter myself, I hurriedly made my way over to their booth to see what they had going on at SHOT Show for 2019, and they had several intriguing new products.

One of the most talked about products was undoubtedly the LMSS II. The original LMSS has long been a favorite among shooters, but this year it got some upgrades for sure. Decked out with Bushnell’s ED Prime glass. ED Prime Extra-Low fluorite glass is known for its excellence in color, contrast, and resolution, even in low-light conditions. The LMSS II is an 8-40×60 spotting scope, in an easily packable design that weighs less than 40 ounces. Bushnell has also included a rail with the LMSS II kit, so rangefinders and red dots can easily be mounted without any extra cost. For added ease of use as well as point of reference, Bushnell has also added a throw hammer.

The LMSS II is available in the new grey color, with two reticle options: the H322 from Horus and the Tremor 4. The LMSS II Spotting Scope is not yet available for purchase, but will have a price point of $1499.99.

Also new for Bushnell’s Forge line are the Forge 15×56 Binoculars. These binos boast both ED Prime Glass and the Abbie Koenig Prism system for high light transmission. The binos have PC-3 Phase Coating applied to the prism to enhance contrast and resolution and Exo Barrier which is applied to lenses to help them repel water, oil, dust, and debris. The Forge 15×56 is listed at $829.99
