Learn More You may have been shopping ‘Cat5 Commerce' and not even known it – they are the ones who ran the ecommerce sites GunHolsters.com, TacticalPants.com, BDU.com, MilitaryBoots.com and MilitaryGear.com. They'll be easier to remember now. It's all under TacticalGear.com. They're calling it an “all-inclusive tactical superstore” and it does seem to have a pretty serious selection. Missouri-based Cat5 Commerce created their first online store (BDU.com) back in '04. It has expanded significantly (and successfully) in the years since and is now one of the largest online sources for tactical- and firearms-related equipment and apparel. Says Cat5 Commerce CEO Chad Weinman, “The driving force behind this decision was to create a streamlined destination that fulfills all our customers' needs,” said Chad Weinman, CEO of Cat5 Commerce. “Creating the most efficient shopping experience for our customers is our No. 1 priority.” TacticalGear.com carries a pretty wide array of respected brands; MilSpec Monkey, Casio, SureFire, Streamlight, Propper, 5.11 Tactical, Nebo, Oakley, Massif, Maxpedition, Merrell, Lowa, Zero Tolerance and several dozen others. The obvious benefit to the merger is to streamline everything. They're a one-stop shop now, instead of having their gear divvied up into niche areas. One might wonder even what took them so long to consolidate while one is enjoying a shorter, more efficient visit. Since they're currently running several specials (including their end of summer “pantopocalypse” you might want to make that visit soon. They are online here, on Facebook here, on Google+ here, Instagram right here and Twitter here. This is their YouTube channel and they've also got a news channel.
