Valhalla Horns was started in 2004 when the owner saw various drinking horns at Renaissance Festivals and knew he could do a better job at making them. An experienced leather craftsman he eventually learned carving and scrimshaw in order to fuse his ideas and imagination into horns of all types.

The plain horns are finished so well they can stand on their own, but a little scrimshaw or carving really transform these into something from the 10th century or a Hollywood Blockbuster about Vikings!
He expanded beyond blowing and drinking horns and turned to Norse themed utensils, mugs, cups, and feast-kits; becoming a one stop shop for all things Viking.
We checked out their wares and found each one better looking than the previous. The drinking horns are fully sealed and the mess kits contain a bowl, spoon and fork held together in a leather carrier that can be worn on a belt.
Personally, we will not admit to attending Ren Faires, but our passion for history and artful craftsmanship keeps us exploring the site in the quest for more horns! If you’re looking for something for your inner Viking, they probably have what you want.
