Welcome to the 18th installment of CONCEALMENT! We spent the last couple months dodging germs, shooting guns, and compiling a trove of content to make your precious solitary time in the bathroom that much more cherished.
We’ve got a mix of traditional pistols and some larger, concealable concoctions that put rifle-caliber power in your party time bag. Iain’s review of the Phoenix Fusion shows there’s no reason you can’t shoot and win a pistol match with your carry gun. And, speaking of competition, Steven has a great story about the practical side of gun gaming featuring commentary from gunfighting and teaching legends Ken Hackathorn, Clint Smith, Mike Pannone, and Frank Proctor.
In the “something a bit different” section, we’ve got reviews of CZ’s factory-authorized bullpup modification for the Scorpion, a 4-inch AR from Freedom Ordnance, and a hard look at SIG’s deep-carry, semi-holographic sighted P365 SAS. A review of Walther’s second-generation CCP, this one in .380, rounds out our reviews.
On the societal side of gundom, we wanted to build on our prior coverage of the Second Amendment Sanctuary movement that began in Virginia earlier this year with some practical advice on getting involved in politics at the local level. We talked to Sarah Hauptman, a regular person who’s become a legislative influencer.
We’re also aware that the record number of firearm transfers in March and April plays into our longstanding desire to spread the gospel of the gun. To that end, we’ve got some advice for those of you getting called on to help your neighbors, friends, and
family as they join the ranks of responsible gun owners.
Stay switched-on and safe out there.
