Dark Angel Medical‘s new Pocket D.A.R.K. Mini is now available. This individual medical pouch is comparable to the original Pocket D.A.R.K., a small kit intended for carrying in your vehicle, purse, or other traveling bag. The Pocket Mini however is much smaller, measure only 4″ x 2.5″ x 1″. Weighing in at a whopping 4.8 oz., it is even more suited for pocket carry. Creator (and RECOILweb contributor) Kerry Davis explains that he designed the Pocket D.A.R.K. Mini to answer the question of , “What if I was at church and wearing a suit? This can fit into your coat or jeans pocket because it just doesn't take up much room.” It's so light and innocuous, in fact, that even the Davis children carry them in their school bags. The Pocket D.A.R.K. Mini includes a SWAT-T, Celox Rapid Ribbon (5 feet of haemostatic gauze), one pair of nitrile latex-free gloves, and 2’ length of duct tape, making it “…a little more wallet friendly while still offering a good bang for the buck.” You can look at kit and its price point ($37.95) and compare against the various pieces individually to see that he maintained that bang vs. buck mindset through the product's creation and testing. All contents are vacuum-sealed in a 3 mil thick bag. Purchase the Pocket D.A.R.K. Mini on line here; read more about this small veteran-owned business on their Facebook page. Also an FYI Dark Angel Medical is apparently offering free shipping during the month of January.
