Learn More Noveske Rifle Works recently announced they brought Tim Dillon aboard as their new President and CEO. I talked to Dillon on Friday to see how he felt now, after two full weeks in. I wanted to get his thoughts and see how things were going. He was, not surprisingly, happy and effusive. “It’s been great,” Dillon said. “It’s a real great brand, a good place, good people. You know, the culture dragged me here. They work hard, they’ve got a great product but they don’t take themselves too seriously.” I’ve heard similar statements about Noveske Rifleworks before. If a business can have a ‘demeanor’ then Noveske’s could be depicted as serious but irreverent. Dillon’s description echoes that. “It’s kind of quirky place,” he laughs, “great atmosphere, just a great vibe. I love it and we’re going to perpetuate it. It’s a good company started by a creative individual and now my job is to put a good business base into and grow the company.” Dillon previously ran both Brownell's and STI International; he's an Army veteran who held the 45B20 MOS in his younger days and has more than 3 decades of experience in the firearms industry. His addition to the Noveske Rifleworks team is probably significant on several levels given that company's heritage and the unique place Noveske – the company and its founder – holds in the AR15 mythos.
