Learn More DoubleStar Corp. has released a machete-like implement intended for use as an everyday tool and for personal protection — the “Crashete.” You can find DoubleStar at SHOT Show, in Booth #20063. There you'll find the Fury “Crashete” as well as other products. SHOT Show 2017:The Doublestar Fury Crashete” DoubleStar Corp, manufacturers of high-quality, US-made AR components, rifles and pistols, reveal the Fury “Crashete”. We coined this term to accurately describe the Fury's capability. Although the Fury's gene pool harkens back to sugar cane and brush clearing machetes, its modern re-engineering puts it in the class of the perfect everyday tool and personal protection. Most production machetes are made from .089″ – .125″ thick spring steel, but DoubleStar went instead with .285″ thick S7 tool steel. This steel gives the Fury's blade a high impact toughness and resistance to shock load. Heavy enough for light breaching but still lightweight enough at 1 lb. 12 oz. to be comfortably carried on your person. Measuring just 18.25″ long, the Fury gives you reach while still being useful in close quarter situations. MSRP of the Fury is $499.99. About DoubleStar Corp.: DoubleStar Corp., located in Winchester, Kentucky, was formed when customers of J&T Distributing, a leading supplier of thousands of AR parts and accessories, requested complete rifles and pistols crafted from the same high-quality, U.S.-made components. DoubleStar now supplies not only the commercial market but military and law enforcement forces across the world with rugged and dependable firearms. The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Typically attended by thousands of people from all 50 states and over a hundred countries, it is (quite rightfully) described as the “…world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services. Imagine the Worlds' Fair, but packed with everything from mini-guns and every breed of body armor, bows and boots; from eye pro and ear pro to optics and ordnance, socks to swords…you get the idea. If you'd like to see a sampling of the companies who will be showing at this year's SHOT, there's a live map right here, though it doesn't reflect the organizations set up elsewhere, in hotel suites, etc View imagery from our coverage of last year's SHOT Show here; 2015's is right here.
