Geigerrig Custom Guardian Pack Give Away

Geigerrig Hydration is conducting a contest/give away on Facebook this week in celebration of Independence Day. The prize is a Geigerrig Custom Guardian. I'm a big fan of Geigerrig kit and I'm looking forward to their new tactical line (more of which should be appearing any day now). They actually sent me one of their Rig 710s to try out during the Greenside Tracking Class I've been writing about. Rather than do it myself under limited testing conditions, however, I turned that over to Freddy Osuna for a full T&E. I knew he'd be using it during tactical and (non-tactical) SAR (Search and Rescue) training in both high- and low-desert conditions during the weeks following our course, which should give it more opportunity to prove itself (or fail) under a variety of conditions.

There's also a very good chance it will be used operationally during his volunteer SAR duties as well. Stand by for his full review on that in a future post. Meantime, check out the Geigerrig give away on this Facebook page.
