In addition to help provide a “full hand grip” on the weapon, the magazine extensions will add either +1 or +2 rounds to the existing G43 6 round magazine. For those who want the extension without the extra round (though we're not entirely sure why anyone would prefer this) they offer a +0 configuration that just helps the grip.
