Paradime is a one woman operation based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In business for just a couple of years now, she appears to have garnered quite a following and seems to be doing very well for herself. The business is described as a “Dealer of all things EDC.” In the online store are assorted wrist pieces and paracord jewelry, knives, flashlights, multitools and assorted other goodness. In addition to the handcrafted pieces, Paradime retails such brands as Boker, Brous Blades, Spyderco, QTRMSTR, Maratac and Nitecore. I'll be looking mostly as her original custom stuff.
Check out the Paradime EDC wrist piece option she calls the “Skull Squad.” This is done in oxidized Roman copper but is also available in pewter, oxidized brass, oxidized black and 18K plated gold.
This is the “Double Shot” wrist piece with double 9mm Luger etched brass bullet shell cases.
She clearly has excellent taste in both her personal EDC and what she carries in her store. Here's a ferinstance:
That's a Viper Odino Titanium framelock, a Wasteland Oddities beverage cleaver with handcrafted leather tag (I love Wasteland Oddities), Maratac flashlight in copper, camo hank and side by side bracelets (War is Hell and Spartan v. 1).
Another ferinstance.
That's apparently a dragon cut crusader multitool in Ti with lanyard and Ti bead, a Mind Hex v. 2 wrist piece, a custom ring from Earthchunks, QTRMSTR QBS-2P drop point knife and Ti2design Whiner. All are laid out on a Dark Side hank.
Note: I'm from Oklahoma. Ferinstance is in fact a word: noun 1. Give an instance or an example. [fer-in-st uhnns]
You can see some more bracelets in the image below. The two to the right are King Cobra wrist pieces. To the bottom left a one-off custom paracord bracelet, upper left a handcrafted brass Tengu. The King Cobra's use AustriAlpin Cobra stab-lock style quick release buckles (the same kind you'll see on small packs and the like).
These are proprietary “Paradime Original” lineage bead. They're available in 7 different handcrafted finishes of silver, brass and copper. Here's how she describes them:
“Where the old meets the new, this design incorporates half Spartan, half Modern Warrior. Even though the armor has changed over the centuries, one truth remains…behind the evolution of metal to Kevlar and no-tech to hi-tech, is the same warrior who earned the right to fill the gap and stand ever ready to pay the ultimate price with helmet strapped tight. The ages that separate the Mighty Spartan and Modern Warrior are bridged and bound tight together by sinew, and meat, and blood, and bone. That's the Lineage of the Warrior and the Mortar of Liberty.”
