Hell’s Canyon Speed Alpha Max

Browning recently notified us they have released a new flashlight in their rechargeable series. While the name Hell's Canyon makes it sound like something big enough to mount on an Infantry Fighting Vehicle and Alpha Max hints at either a Justice League member or a porn star, in reality it's a small enough light for Every Day Carry.

Here’s a little more about it.

Hell's Canyon Speed Alpha Max Rechargeable Flashlight

The new Hell's Canyon Speed Alpha Max Rechargeable flashlight features advanced digital circuitry that uses either a single AA battery or a 14500 Li-ion rechargeable. The option of different batteries means the user will never be without a power source.

  • Features advanced digital circuitry
  • Constructed of rugged aircraft grade aluminum
  • Luxeon white LED bulb with high and low modes
  • Comes with one AA battery and one rechargeable battery

Constructed of rugged aircraft grade aluminum, the Hell's Canyon Speed Alpha Max Rechargeable flashlight is waterproof and submersible to 3 feet for 30 minutes. A Luxeon white LED bulb with high and low modes has a max brightness of 315 and a low of 155 lumens and an effective distance of 150 to 85 yards. A single green LED provides stealth. The light also features a fast strobe mode for emergency signaling. A lockout tailcap switch provides momentary and continuous modes.

Available in A-TACS AU or FG camo with Dura-Touch Amor Coating, the overall length is 4-5/16″.  The light package includes one AA and one 14500 rechargeable battery with USB charger.

The suggested retail for the Hell’s Canyon Speed Alpha Max Rechargeable Flashlight is $119.99.

Browning has been around since 1880 and is a name that we all know.

Here’s more about them in their own words.

There is history attached to every Browning product. Even the newest most innovative products. That's because when you take a close look at Browning guns and gear you can see the commitment to innovation started by John Moses Browning himself, over 125 years ago. But not every Browning product is the latest “innovation.” Some are tried and true. Yet they exhibit the Browning commitment to excellence embodied in our slogan The Best There Is.
