IWI US Begins Shipping TAVOR SAR Bullpup Rifles

IWI US, Inc. has started shipping TAVOR SAR rifles to distributors. The TAVOR SAR is a bullpup rifle – with a polymer uni-body – chambered in 5.56 NATO. Conversion kits are available for 9mm Luger and 5.45x39mm. The standard SAR is available with a removable 16.5″ or 18″ barrel, the barrels are Cold Hammer Forged (CHF) CrMoV chrome-lined with 1:7 twist. Features also include a full-length top-mounted Picatinny rail, additional short rail forward at a 45° angle and full ambidextrous controls.

IWI also will be offering a left-hand model, that is only available currently in black with a 16.5-inch barrel, and the TAVOR SAR IDF. The IDF variant features an integrated MEPRO-21 optic. MSRP for the TAVOR SAR is $1,999 and $2,599 for the IDF version.
