Gear Lancer Systems Announces New Products Recoil Staff November 29, 2014 0 COMMENT Lancer Systems, creator of the excellent L5AWM magazine, just announced some new stuff for AR and Sig 716 users alike. First is up the Adaptive Magwell. If you’ve ever used a Lancer AR lower, you’ll know that they come equipped with a changeable magwell so you can determine the amount of flare you want. The Adaptive Magwell is the same idea but for most AR/M16 lowers. It’s 6061 T6 aluminum and desgined to fit mil-spec 5.56 magwells. MSRP is $99 and can be purchased here. Next up are two new handguards for the Sig716. The SIG 716 variant features a free float design with aluminum sight rail at 12 o’clock, and an octagon carbon fiber tube with cut-outs to expose the gas adjusting knob. Cooling slots in the tube accept rails and slots at 6 o’clock accept a rail for mounting a bi-pod. Available with top rails in carbine length, 7.4-inches, and extended length, 13.1-inches. MSRP starts at $274.99. Carbine length available here and extended length available here. If you have used one, let us know what you think.
