The SPIR is equipped with a patent pending, high definition, aspherical, telescopic lens technology. Designed for use in conjunction with Night Vision Devices, the SPIR can be paired with any tactical laser to provide unsurpassed illumination for a wide range of civilian, LE, military, or Special Forces applications. The SPIR is equipped with a <600mW Eye-Safe Infrared LED Illuminator and can be used as a handheld device or mounted to any MIL-STD-1913 rail using the self-adjusting, Quick Release HT Mount. The highly collimated 2° to 30° adjustable beam significantly enhances night vision performance and outperforms all other tactical IR illumination devices by providing an eye-safe means of illuminating distances up to 1500 meters. The SPIR is powered by either two (2) CR123A lithium or three (3) AA batteries (model dependent), housed with a rugged snap-release end-cap for quick and easy battery changes. A remote cable pressure pad or integrated push button switch activate the device. Manufactured from high impact glass-filled polymer, the SPIR weighs a minimal 6.5 ounces with batteries and mount, and is waterproof to 20 meters.
