Learn More Matt Buckingham has resigned from his position as the Firearms Division President of Smith & Wesson. Buckingham held the role since April 2016. We reached out to Smith & Wesson, a spokesperson confirmed that Buckingham is returning to Iowa for another job opportunity and to be closer to his family. The company name of Buckingham's new gig was not released. Before working for Smith & Wesson, Buckingham held multiple titles at Brownells from 2004 to 2016. Those positions included chief operations officer, general manager, and president.
