New from MDT comes a new budget-minded chassis, the Field Stock! If you’re familiar with the MDT XRS, the new Field Stock is basically a lighter, less expensive, and slightly less featured version.
Starting development as the XRS-Lite, the Field Stock has an aluminum v-block bedding that offers incredible improvements, providing accuracy for your action. Add to that the injection-molded polymer body creates a warm-to-the-touch grip even in cold climates.
Under the forend hides M-LOK attachment points perfect for adding bipods or other rails.
The Field Stock uses AICS magazines and has an ambidextrous magazine release. The cheek riser is adjustable, as is length of pull – but LOP requires spacers.
Sling studs are found on both ends of the Field Stock.
Weight is 3.1 lbs, overall length is 32.22”, forend length is 11.87”, max barrel diameter is 1.250”
“The MDT Field Stock was built for any situation; range days, hunting, or competition. It features M-LOK slots on the bottom and sides of the forend, a toolless adjustable cheek riser for a perfect cheek weld, and Length of Pull spacers for optimized fit. Sling studs on the forend and buttstock provide mounting options for slings or bipods. It also converts your rifle to use AICS magazines.”
Launching in the Remington 700 SA inlet, in Black and FDE.
MSRP is $300
