It is comprised of molybdenum disulfide and “corrosion inhabiting pigments,” and is intended to be a semi-permanent, low friction application that prevents corrosion, galling, seizing and the like. Says the manufacturer, “Once applied, MLP Solid Film Lubricant is virtually unaffected by atmospheric and fretting corrosion, solvents, acids, oils and degreasers. It operates best at temperatures ranging from -320° to +300° degrees F. “ The MLP™ Solid Lubricant Pen comes from Birchwood Casey.® Explore RECOILweb:RECOILtv Training Tuneups: Proper Curved Blade UseBefore SHOT: Magpul SL-M Carbine StockGlock Gen 3 & 4 In Flat Dark EarthNew: the 5.11 Tactical Stonecutter Pant NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Target Pack from RECOILFor years, RECOIL magazine has treated its readers to a full-size (sometimes full color!) shooting target tucked into each big issue.
