If you’ve ever wished you could own a single-shot, break-action, 410/45LC pistol, then I have great news for you!
ROSSI, ever an expert in giving people exactly what they want, is now offering the BRAWLER! Clearly living up to its fighting name, the single-shot, break-action pistol has a 1913 Picatinny rail on top for the mounting of high-speed optics, a built-in rear sight, and a blade-style front sight.
The Brawler is single-action and hammer-fired. Adding flexibility to your choices, you can deploy two kinds of semi-popular calibers, .410 Bore shot shells or .45 Long Colt cartridges.
Complete with rubber grips and a carbon steel frame, the Brawler claims to be able to shoot up to 3-inch 410 Bore Magnum ammo.
Per Rossi’s website, “Throw down with the Brawler today, and you’ll be prepared for anything the woods can throw at you.”
While the idea of facing down a grizzly bear armed with only my trusty single-shot, break-action, .410 Bore pistol is only slightly less appealing than actually carrying a 14-inch long handgun during a hike, you have to at least respect Rossi’s enthusiasm and optimistic approach to life.
All joking aside, single-action pistols can be a lot of fun. Due to the very low MSRP of the Brawler, I can imagine this might be a popular choice for a new plinking pistol or an easy way of dispatching small pests with a load of .410 snake, rat, or bird shot.
Time will tell if these pistols are durable and reliable, but with such a low cost, at least you’re not risking much.
MSRP is $240, and the Brawler is available from Guns.com and Gallery of Guns.
