Holosun had a list of cool optics they are releasing soon on display at the SHOT Show 2023 industry range day! A few major new optics are the 507 COMP, DRS-TH, and DRS-NV.
The DRS-TH and DRS-NV optics are based on the Holosun AEMS red dot architecture. With the front cover flipped open, they work exactly like a traditional red dot.
But when you flip the opaque front lens cover closed, output from a secondary optical sensor is projected onto the black window behind the red dot.
The DRS-TH features a thermal camera, and the DRS-NV has a digital night vision camera with an onboard IR illuminator. Both are pretty amazing and will be coming in at a lot less money than you might expect. We’ll have a complete review on them soon.
The 507 COMP uses the RMR footprint for mounting and is an upsized version of the 507 with a 28x22mm window. For comparison, the Trijicon SRO is 25×22.5mm. The huge window on the 507 COMP is designed for maximum ease and speed of use.
While large and bulky to try and carry, this huge window is really nice for shooting on the clock and trying to shave time off your run.
The 507 COMP also comes with 6 reticle options and will be available in Red or green dot versions.
