New TORIC 8×42 Binocular From TRACT Optics

The new TORIC 8×42 binocular from TRACT Optics should make outdoor enthusiasts quite happy given the packed feature list and the relatively low purchase price.

TRACT uses the same SHOTT HT glass in the TORIC 8×42 binos as they do in the TORIC UHD 30mm scope that has garnered some pretty solid reviews online, it would be reasonable to expect the binos to share the same quality.

The TORIC 8×42 binoculars feature a fully weather-sealed magnesium alloy body with multistep eyecups. MSRP is $684 and can be found on the TRACT Optics website.

TRACT Optics has introduced the next generation of optical advancements with the addition of an 8×42 binocular to its award-winning TORIC product lineup. This high-performance offering features precision components and coveted SCOTT HT (High Transmission) glass for superior image resolution, giving hunters, birders and outdoor enthusiasts a world-class 8×42 binocular for clear, efficient and unobstructed views. The TORIC 8×42 SCHOTT HT Binocular is $684.00 and can be purchased online at tractoptics.com.

The latest model adds industry-leading SCHOTT HT glass for the highest level of light transmission values, especially in the blue and violet spectrum, with outstanding color brilliance and superior image resolution quality particularly in low light conditions. A flat multicoating increases light transmission over a wider spectrum of light (from 400-700nm) with the highest increase in transmission values in the green color range. The Simple Locking Diopter system eliminates inadvertent movement in the field and ensures strain-free viewing.

Combined with standard features like a rugged magnesium alloy body, fully waterproof and fogproof construction, and multistep eyecups with rounded edges, these enhancements deliver incredibly sharp and bright images. The enhanced ocular diameter of the TORIC provides a wider field of view and longer eye relief while minimizing the blackout that occurs with improper eye position. Plus, the scratch-proof, oil-phobic, smudge-proof lens coating provides unrivaled performance.

“We’re extremely pleased to give customers yet another high-performance, high-quality option that appeals to so many different groups,” said TRACT Co-Founder Jon LaCorte. “We continue to listen to our customers’ needs and improve upon our extraordinary optics. With the new 8×42 Binocular in particular, we enhanced our award-winning TORIC design with the industry’s finest SCHOTT HT glass for exceptional light transmission values and color brilliance. This package is popular with backcountry hunters, birders, boater and other outdoor enthusiasts. When compared with other glass types and suppliers, this upgrade alone gives users better clarity and makes the glassing experience that much more enjoyable.”
