Newcomber “Waveborn” offering quality eyewear

Waveborn, a relative newcomer to the sunglass game, is offering innovative eyewear for the outdoor market.  They advise they're now  proud to showcase over 100 different types of polycarbonate lenses produced by the legendary Carl Zeiss Group in Milan, Italy (the international leader in the field of optics hat needs no introduction here). Waveborn has frames to fit these new lenses, with nine different models and 25 different colors, available for purchase now here. Lens options include UV, polarized, and prescription options, all of which can receive additional scratch resistant and anti-reflective coatings.

Polycarbonate lenses offer a much higher level of quality as opposed to basic plastic CR-39 lenses. Lighter and thinner than CR-39, polycarbonates are usually the most durable of all plastic lenses. Less likely to break than other materials, they are often recommended to children, athletes, and individuals with vision in only one eye as a protective measure.

Waveborn's lenses also feature two coating options, available for all prescription, polarized, and non-mirror UV lenses: a scratch resistant coating and an anti-reflective coating, offering additional protection, ensuring Waveborn’s lenses will live up to your needs. Polarized lenses with the anti-reflective coating are well-suited for driving and boating, because they eliminate glare from horizontal surfaces such as water, roads, pavements, snow, sand and reflective surfaces such as car exteriors.

Here's an additional point in favor of buying from Waveborn; for each pair of sunglasses sold, Waveborn donates a pair of eyeglasses to a person who needs them through their non-profit partner, Unite For Sight. Unite For Sight is a 501C3 organization that works with local eye clinics around the world to help people in under served communities; think of them as a Peace Corps for eye clinics – they support the local doctors that care for patients living in extreme poverty.
