Gear Nightforce Optics New Website Recoil Staff April 3, 2012 Join the Conversation Nightforce Optics has updated their website, www.nightforceoptics.com. The new design is very easy to navigate, and includes a Velocity Reticle Calculator to help you figure out what's the best scope and reticle for you. Also if you didn't know 2012 is the twenty year anniversary for Nightforce, and this is their story: Back in 1992, Australian hunter and shooter Dr. Ray Dennis had a problem. You see, hunting at night in Australia is not only legal, but wildly popular. Several years earlier, Ray had founded Lightforce Australia Pty. Ltd., for the purpose of manufacturing the finest spotlights on the planet. Ray’s lights lit up the night for hunting vehicles and vastly improved a hunter’s ability to find and spot targets in the darkness. Trouble was, there was no riflescope on the market of sufficient quality to take advantage of Ray’s superb lights. So he set out to build his own. The principles he followed then have remained unchanged over two decades—to gather the finest materials, utilize the most advanced technology and talent, cut no corners whatsoever, and build what is simply the most rugged, most precise, most uncompromising riflescope money can buy. Judging by the growth of the company he founded, he succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. Today, Nightforce riflescopes are used by professional and competition shooters, avid hunters and our armed forces under incredibly demanding conditions in every corner of the globe. As good as our scopes might be, we also recognize that the satisfaction of you, our customer, is what ultimately matters most. You will find that philosophy paramount in our service, our support, and the way we do business. No doubt, many things will change in the next 20 years. Those things won’t. www.nightforceoptics.com Explore RECOILweb:Going HotTOPS Knives Introduces the VI AxPistol Drill: 3-StyleLeupold Gets the Hots for Thermal Optics NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Target Pack from RECOILFor years, RECOIL magazine has treated its readers to a full-size (sometimes full color!) shooting target tucked into each big issue.
