Panteao Productions adds Gunsite Academy to Video Lineup

Columbia, SC based Panteao Productions recently announced they are adding Gunsite Academy to the group of instructors available for their Make Ready with the Experts training series. For $13.95 per month, anyone can watch these videos at their leisure, which means you can now get some of that Gunsite knowledge streaming from through your computer in lieu of traveling to Arizona.

Make Ready With Gunsite

We are very pleased to be able to team up with Gunsite and create a one-on-one training experience with Gunsite instructors via Panteao's online streaming videos and DVDs. Attending a class at Gunsite is something every firearm owner in the US should do at least once in their lifetime”, said Fernando Coelho, president of Panteao Productions. Fernando continued, “With our training videos, we will be able to supplement that hands on training for those that have already been to Gunsite, prepare those that are getting ready to take a class, and give some level of training for those that haven't attended.”

Ken Campbell, Gunsite's Chief Operating Officer commented: “It is an exciting venture to work with Panteao to make Gunsite available to more good people. People recognize the world may not be the nice place it once was and are seeking good training. This is an opportunity to make a solid introduction to The Modern Technique and start them down the training path or refresh them. We look forward to this on-going joint venture.”

The initial video titles being produced at Gunsite Academy are Make Ready with Gunsite: 250 Pistol, Make Ready with Gunsite: 223 Carbine, and Make Ready with Gunsite: Citizen Response to Active Shooter. There will also be a special documentary coming out later this year about the 40th Anniversary of Gunsite.

Only an effective, safe and authoritative program of study can guarantee that in a moment of danger YOU will act to protect yourself, your loved ones or the ones you are sworn to with self defense firearms training skills.

Gunsite is such a school. Here, we teach Marksmanship – how to hit what you aim at. However, Gunsite goes beyond this simple discipline to include the principles of Gun-handling and Mind-set. This we call the Combat Triad. We offer multiple levels of instruction in handgun, carbine, shotgun, bolt action rifle and precision rifle. Each discipline is informed by the Combat Triad. Each Instructor at Gunsite is someone who has served in Law Enforcement, the military or both. Each Instructor is fully imbued with the doctrine and tradition of our school.

Gunsite Academy was originally known as American Pistol Institute (API) and was founded in 1976. They are located to the west of Paulden, AZ. Their facility is roughly 2800 acres and they offer many types of firearms training ranging from pistol basics to advanced firearms training — and they're coming up on their 40th anniversary.
