Dirk Pinkerton, the well-known and long time knife designer behind Pinkerton Knives, has collaborated with Grady Burrell of Master Proven to create the ‘Last Ditch Dart'. Manufactured of 154CM steel, the overall length of the Last Ditch Dart is 4.6 in. Both the primary and secondary edges are 2.5 in. in length, .75 in. wide and .125 in. thick. The serrations are optional and the handle is grooved to allow for 550 cord or other wrapping or lashing to an improvised stabbing device. Burrell and Pinkerton advise they determined 1.25 in. would be the best thickness for strength, weight and edge geometry after rigorously testing a series of prototypes.
There is a first responder/military rate available and they are apparently looking for dealers.
