The Ultimate Firearms Destination for the Gun Lifestyle

Polymer80’s Production Pistols

At NRA Indy 2019, Polymer80 (“P80”) showcased their new production pistols. Known for their 80% frame kits based on Glock handguns, P80 has slowly been expanding their product line. In addition to a variety of parts to complete frames and slides, P80 has been stocking Brownells and Rainier Arms with serialized frames that can be shipped directly to your dealer, along with OEMing their frames for Faxon’s and Grey Ghost Precision’s pistol offerings. P80’s production pistols will be introduced as the PFS9 (Glock 17 sized firearm) and the PFC9 (Glock 19 sized firearm).

The production pistols will feature entirely USA manufactured parts designed by the P80 team. No stranger to the demand for a good trigger, P80 equipped their offerings with polymer flat face triggers that provide a clean, crisp pull and break. P80 is one of the few manufacturers making a Glock type trigger bar. The slides and barrels are black nitrided to provide a durable finish. The frames themselves are serialized versions of their 80% frame offerings, which means that those who enjoy the enhanced ergonomics of the P80 frame can purchase a complete firearm if they are uncomfortable with attempting to finish their own.

In the initial offering of the PFS9 and PFC9, P80 will give individuals the choice of black frame/black slide and barrel, flat dark earth frame/black slide and barrel or black frame/black slide with Night Fision Suppressor Height Sights, and threaded barrel. When asked if there were plans to offer slide variants that were red dot ready, P80’s representative stated that they may be available in the future, but the immediate goal was to keep costs low in order to offer an affordable pistol.

The PFS9 and PFC9 production pistols check in at a reasonable MSRP of $550 and are tentatively slated for release in Fall of 2019.
