Anyone tried this method? We've used socks as a wick before; run a tall sock from the inside of the toe of your boot or shoe out so it comes out the top, then set it in front of a fan or the AC vent of your hotel room or whatever. The sock will pull moisture from down inside and dry it from the inside out. The crumpled newspaper method as demonstrated here by Patrol Tactical looks pretty easy too. We'll see how it works next time we're on the road.
