3D printing has been all the rage the last several years. We've played with several 3D printed silencers in the past such as the Brevis and the Daniel Defense WAVE silencer. The latest to hit the scene is by Ellison Dynamic Concepts, an inconel printed little bastard silencer meant to take the edge off. We shot a few rounds through it at Industry Day at the Range, and also got yelled at a bit for taking off our earpro to see how it sounds. While Ellison Dynamic Concepts tells us that it's “hearing safe” with a 16-inch barreled AR, we'll leave that one up to the OSHA experts. Regardless, you can absolutely anticipate a full review of one of these little oil can silencers in the near future in an upcoming issue of RECOIL.
