Learn More Reptilia's new DOT mount is a simplified, lightweight red-dot mount for guys that shun chunky and expensive QD-style mounts. Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, the DOT is strong and slim. It bears a spring-loaded, steel pic-rail clamp that is secured with a screw to provide the shooter an easily installed, simple and snag-free RDS mount. The DOT is initially offered for Aimpoint T-1/T-2 footprint optics with a black milspec type III hard anodized finish, in lower 1/3 co-witness height with flat dark earth and clear anodized versions coming in late March 2019. Reptilia says additional heights and fits are also on the way. The DOT is made in the USA and includes a lifetime warranty.
