People Savoy Leather: it’s Holster Art David Reeder July 5, 2015 4 Comments, Join the Conversation Savoy Leather is a small family owned business based in the sprawling metropolis of Weleetka, OK (about 70 miles south of Tulsa). Originally founded in Louisiana, business owners Jeremiah and Jerri Savoy moved the business back to Oklahoma (Jeremiah is originally from here) and went to work. As you can see, they specialize in Second Amendment themed leather holsters (though that is by no means the limit of their reach or craftsmanship). Savoy Leather is an unabashedly faith-based and patriotic business, which in my mind is (after the obvious quality of their work) the best reason to support them. These aren't your traditional sort of gentleman's wearable, but I think you'll agree they echo the ethos. Go check them out. While doing so, pay attention to the “custom profession” holsters — from linemen and welders to truck drivers, firemen and cops they can do most anything to completely individualize a holster for you. All handmade, all made in the USA. Says Jeremiah, “Worth every bead of sweat and every sleepless night. We do it for these customers. I have come to the realization that there are some who do not deserve to own a piece of me, and others I would gladly lose sleep to have the privilege to craft something for.” All imagery taken from Savoy Leather social media outlets. I wasn't familiar with Savoy Leather, though they're just an hour from my house, so hat tip to Eric from VF Gunrunners for making me aware of 'em — and nice photoshop job SL! “Savoy Leather is all about handmade custom leather creations. www.savoyleather.com.” Savoy Leather Explore RECOILweb:Where To Find 3D Printed Gun FilesAre revolvers ideal or obsolete?Gun confiscation by proxySwitchology: Setting Up Your Rifle Lights, Lasers And Switches NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Target Pack from RECOILFor years, RECOIL magazine has treated its readers to a full-size (sometimes full color!) shooting target tucked into each big issue.
