For the series debut the boss builds an M4E1 into a carbine and takes it to the range – you'll be able to follow as he assembles the AR, then watch and listen as he (meaning RECOIL editor Iain Harrison) makes the finished weapon go loud. It's one thing to read about index pins, barrel nuts and gas tube alignments but something else entirely to watch the process as it is explained – we hope you'll benefit from our new video effort. For those who want it written in black and white, the final rifle build is an M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver (7075 T6 forged aluminum) with a 15″ Keymod handguard, 16″ M4 profile barrel on an Aero Precision Gen 2 (ambi) lower receiver with a Battle Arms Development BAD-ASS-ST Ambi Safety Selector Short Throw 50and Norgon Ambi-Catch Magazine Release.
