Black Collar Arms showed us something so new they hadn't even settled on a name when we got handsy with it. But they made one thing perfectly clear: It's not a stock and it's not a brace–it's a rear support monopod.
The Precision Pistol Support, Rear Monopod Pistol Support, or whatever name they land on, is a monopod designed to mount on any tube or bar compatible with the Gear Head Works Tailhook brace. What you see here is a pre-production prototype so there will be some changes before it hits the shelf.
We're told full production monopods will have an adjustable rubber base and some further refinements.
We're sure it's just a coincidence that someone could shoulder this, but a monopod certainly isn't a stock or a brace. For external use only.
