The history of semi-automatic handguns can be traced across centuries, with noteworthy icons along the way. The Browning Hi-Power represents one of those that stood out so long that it would later be reincarnated. Fabrique Nationale played a major role in the original Hi-Power, and after ceasing production in 2018, they've recreated the legendary handgun with some modern updates under the hood.
The FN High Power remains chambered in 9mm, and comes in three different colorways. Ambidextrous controls, drift-able sights, and a new takedown lever modernize the firearm, while the form factor remains true to the icon. The safety levers and slide catch/releases have received a knurling treatment for better manipulation in all environments.
With different colorways, and swappable grips, a range of customization comes straight from FN. Tan Cerakote, Black, and Stainless frames incorporate checkering for a better grip, and an improved beavertail reduces hammer-bite. The FN High Power trigger repeatably pulls at 4.25 pounds.
