SHOT Show 2023 SIG Sauer Media Range Day: SHOT 2023 David Lane January 16, 2023 Join the Conversation ROSE STOLE THE SPOTLIGHT, BUT SIG HAS MORE TO SHOW THIS YEAR SIG Sauer came out swinging with the Rose P356XL, a tasteful and wonderful to shoot micro-compact pistol marketed for women. SIG Rose But that wasn’t the only thing they had this year at their range day before SHOT Show officially starts. Top of my list for awesomeness was the SIG Spear in 6.5 Creedmoor. While the .277 FURY version has been shown off a lot since the Army started looking for a new rifle, the 6.5 Creedmoor version is likely a much more accessible option for us normal people. Soft shooting with great controls, this isn’t just another AR-10. This is a new beast. SIG Spear in 6.5 Creedmoor A pistol that surprised me was the P365-380. While this is “just” a .380 ACP version of the normal P365 – I love it. .380 ACP is a respectable defensive cartridge (in my opinion, at least), and the P365-380 was incredibly soft shooting and held 10+1 rounds. Plus, it can mount a red dot and/or come in a crazy Rainbow color option. Maybe not my top choice for a CCW, but very cool looking. SIG P365-380 SIG is also launching some incredible motion stablizing binucilars soon! An improved version of the tech already used in their Oscar 3, these binos will feature multiple stabilization modes in 10x, 12x, 16x, and 20x magnification options. Getting to test these out on the range was impressive, to say the least. They also have some extremely budget-minded laser rangefinders hitting soon, we’ll bring you more on that as they release!
