Strike Industries is now making something they call the “Slick Handguard” for the MR556/HK416. The handguard also fits the Walther HK 416 D145RS Semi-Auto Rifle in .22 L.R. It features Key Mod sessions at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, three rail sections, and four QD sockets. According to Strike Industries, the hand guard is “…ultra lightweight and comes with a plethora of feature.” Those features apparently include three different lengths: 9”, 11”, and 13”. The hand guard is made of 6061 aluminum with black hard coat anodizing type 3. They advise no special tools are needed to install. The Slick Handguard sells for $179.
