Learn More Not too long ago Dark Angel Medical released the next part of their product line- the St. Mike (Severe Trauma & Medical Intervention Kit, Emergency) Bag. This bag contains most anything one might need for immediate actions to a medical emergency ranging, whether involving multiple injured persons or just one guy with a minor boo-boo. The idea for the St. Mike bag originally came from several requests for a kit better suited for ‘mass casualties’, or multiple serious injuries, from students on the range, in the classroom, and in the field. The prototype has been carried around in the field over the course of the last year or so, tested by a variety of end users, and improved by integrating their suggestions. The result is a finished medical equipment bag well suited for a wide variety of purposes. All St.Mike medical equipment (see full list below) is packed into a 500D NIR nylon Bag designed by Dark Angel Medical and made by their partners at FirstSpear. The gear is sorted into pockets based on common chronological need in an emergency situation. For example, before opening the main compartment of the pack, there is what Dark Angel calls the “quick access flap”. This includes first-line items like pressure dressings, hemostatics, tourniquets and airways. In the rear is a zippered pocket for various occlusive dressings, flat dressings and seals. On each side of the bag are pockets with built-in drain grommets. These can hold water bottles, spare mags, radios, etc. Inside the bag there are several adjustable dividers to provide modularity; they can be used organize the inner contents into 6 sections based on the owner’s needs and organizational preferences. The St. Mike bag features the following equipment: 10 x bandaids, 5 packs x 1/4”steri-strips, 5 x Benzoin Tincture swabs, 2 x Kerlix 4″ Gauze, 4 x Kerlix 3″ Gauze, 2 x 1″ surgical tape, 10 x 4×4 Gauze, 10 x 2×2 gauze, 5 x ABD Pads, 4 x Compressed Gauze, 2 x SAM Splint, 4 x 4″ Ace Wrap, 1 x HALO XL, 2 x HALO, 1 x Eye Wash, 1 x 6″ Izzy, 3 x 4″ Izzy, 2 x Space Blanket, 2 x Cravats (Triangular Bandage), 1x 7.5″ Trauma Shears, 2 x QuikClot Combat Gauze LE, 2 x Celox Rapid Ribbon, 2 x CAT TQ, 2x SWAT-T, 10 pair x Nitrile Gloves, 2 x NPA's, 1 x Burn Gel, Vionex wipes x 10, Glucose x 1, After Bite x 1, Acetaminophen x 5 two packs, Ibuprofen x 5 two packs, Aspirin x 5 two packs, Sunscreen x 2 packs, Alcohol Pads x 10, Hand Sanitizer x 1, Triple antibiotic ointment x 5 packs The coyote brown bag can be sold already arranged and packed, or separately and empty if your looking at it for alternative purposes.
