Employee owned STI International, Inc., in Georgetown, TX, just released a new version of the Guardian. It's a 2011 platform with double-stack magazine (you may recall us talking about their new blasters during SHOT) called (wait for it)…the STI Guardian 2011.

New for 2016, the ever popular STI Guardian is now available in a 2011 platform with double-stack magazine. The gun has a narrow lightweight aluminum frame in Cerakote finish with a stainless steel slide. The Guardian 2011 also features a unique 3.9 inch barrel and a shorter VIP grip for easier concealment in light cover, and yet still maintains an impressive 15 round capacity in 9mm.

Providing substantial firepower in a personal defense, concealed carry gun, the Guardian 2011 features a 2-dot adjustable rear sight with fiber optic front for quick target acquisition in low light conditions. The Guardian 2011 sells for a suggested retail price of $1899.00.

Each STI gun is handcrafted by a certified gunsmith and goes through over 30 quality checks before it leaves the building. STI uses only the highest quality parts available throughout the builds. Each sear and hammer is EDM wire cut, which is an innovation that helped STI make a name for itself years ago. Every part that STI manufactures is built to oversized tolerances so they can be hand fit to each individual gun. Each gun is fully function tested and meticulously inspected for any blemishes. The completed STI gun represents some of the finest in handgun custom quality, performance and accuracy.
