The Ultimate Firearms Destination for the Gun Lifestyle

Streamlight’s New TLR-VIR II Gun Light

This year at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) I was able to take a look at one of Streamlight's newest products, the TLR-VIR II. Streamlight offers a complete range of IR illuminators and lasers for use with night vision goggles, but this one is definitely one of their coolest models.

The TLR-VIR II is lightweight, low profile and constructed from durable materials. Powered by lithium batteries, the light has about 90 minutes of visible run time, 12 hours of IR run time, and 12 hours of run time when in laser mode. It features a white light illuminator, IR illuminator, an eye-safe IR laser, and has a strobe feature which is activated by double tapping the switch. The TLR-VIR II has several features which make it not only easy to use but consistently precise. For those who love all the extras, there is a slew of accessories that you can buy for this light ranging from various colored lenses to a holster.  The TLR-VIR II is now available for purchase at an MSRP of $600.00 and is available in two colors: Black and Coyote Brown.
