Defense Sunday Night Range Pr0n: Out shootin’ with S.T.A. David Reeder November 8, 2015 Join the Conversation At RECOIL, we review every product fairly and without bias. Making a purchase through one of our links may earn us a small commission, and helps support independent gun reviews. Learn More This pictorial is 100% plundered from the social media posts of S.T.A. Training Group, an Arizona based company that conducts most of its instructions at the Ben Avery facility just north of Phoenix. The founder and HMFIC is an extremely knowledgeable and squared away man named Jerod Johnson. That's not a name that has gozillions of followers on Instagram or a ‘shooting celebrity cult following' but it does represent a vast amount of knowledge. If you get the opportunity you should try to get in one of his classes. S.T.A offers everything from basic AR maintenance and weapon manipulation classes to “low light/no light shotgun/pistol fighter” and a “300 yard shoulder fired weapons class” (from which most of these pictures are taken). You might consider following S.T.A. on Facebook, even there's not a chance in hell you'll ever attend a class in the Phoenix area. They really know their stuff and they're constantly posting good information about their experiences with weapon accessories, various firearms and assorted brands of ammunition. You can do that here. You can also follow them on Instagram (@s.ta._training_group) Find their calendar of upcoming classes here. What are your plans next week? It's Sunday — that gives you 5 days to make arrangements to go loud with your friends, your family or a reputable instructor — hell, why not all three? #honeyourskills #softwarebeforehardware #camaraderiedontrust Why you can trust RECOIL Since our founding in 2012, RECOIL remains the premier firearms lifestyle publication for the modern shooting enthusiast.
