The Pro-Shooter Experience with Max Michel

The firearms community has been steadily gaining steam, especially over the last decade and a half. We have our fair share of celebrities, but how mainstream was it become? While we doubt TMZ will ever cover tweets and scandals from our world on their nightly broadcasts, nor will checkout line tabloids ever display  photos of Kyle Lamb, there are TV Shows that highlight the shooting community (for better or for worse, depending on which show we're talking about) and even entire cable networks.

Along that same vein of making shooters a household name is this, the Pro-Shooter Experience. You can sign up and spend a weekend in Vegas with some heavy hitters in competitive shooting; Namely Max Michel, JJ Racaza, and Travis Tomasie.

NEW ORLEANS – Join World Champion Shooter Max Michel, Jr. and his team of elite competitive shooters for the shooting event of a lifetime at the “2016 Pro Shooter Experience” May 26-29 in Las Vegas, Nev. Eighteen fortunate people will enjoy VIP treatment, three full days of personal handgun instruction, gun giveaways, and other fun activities including Pro Gun Club fun shoots, and extreme go kart racing.

Max Michel, current IPSC World Champion says, “The Outdoor Channel’s Shooting USA will be on site covering the shooting events while folks receive individual instruction from our team of world champion professional instructors including myself, JJ Racaza, and Travis Tomasie.” The VIP treatment showcases a welcome bag loaded with over $1,000 in gear, gun giveaways featuring Sig Sauer’s P320, 1911MAX, and MPX, special guest appearances, and professional photography during the weekend. “Every shooter will go home with a toolkit full of knowledge making them a better marksman, and chances are good they’ll go home with a new gun,” Michel said.

Not every trainer can say they were recruited into the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit to ultimately become coach of the Action Pistol Team, so you know you’ll get something remarkable with this experience,” says Scoutten.

“Most shooters just train at what they’re good at because they can see their positive results and have fun at the same time,” says Michel. “But we provide a focused system that encompasses important fundamentals as well as the advanced battlefield proven skills required to advance your shooting finesse. Together with myself, JJ Racaza and Travis Tomasie, you’ll spend a weekend at the range immersed in both instructional and fun activities. We’ll have trigger time on machine guns and you can count on getting to blow some stuff up. Shooting culminates with the Pro Shooter Challenge. At this private match, attendees shoot 6 courses of fire implementing the techniques they learned while competing against the three coaching pros,” Michel added.
